That's When I Talk to God, Dan & Ali Morrow

This is the second book by these authors, the first was "That's Where God is". I loved this one as much as the first. The authors have done an excellent job of teaching children that they can talk to God at anytime, in any place, about anything. My daughters loved the book and the simple story line. This is a conversation between a mother and daughter at bedtime. The mother is explaining that prayer is simply a conversation with God and that we can do it all the time. I think this is great because like this girl most children probably associate prayer with a bedtime and meal time and at these times there are sometimes recited easy prayers that follow the same line. However the mother explains that we can speak to God about anything and use the language we are most comfortable with. I think this is an excellent resource to use in teaching children how to prayer and help them become more comfortable with what prayer really is.
