31 Days to Happiness, David Jeremiah
This book is designed to be read one chapter a day for 31 days. Just based on the title I was expecting more of a devotional style book, but was not unhappy with the way it is set up. The book takes a look at the wisest man in history - King Solomon - and his writings found in the book of Ecclesiastes.
If you are at all familiar with this book you will remember that Solomon at one point states that all things are vanity. Jeremiah explores this book and leads the reader on a journey to discover what true happiness is. I think, like Solomon, most readers will finally see that the things of this world are in vain - that true happiness is not found in these things but rather in things that are not of this world.
I found the book very easy to read and enjoyable. I would recommend it to others wanting a deeper understanding and exploration of this book.
