Nowhere Hair, Sue Glader

Cancer changes everything in a family's life. Often children have so many unanswered questions so quietly they struggle with secret doubts and worries. This book is by far the sweetest book on this subject written by a woman that has gone through this valley. Her thoughtful poetic style presents the truth that cancer is no ones fault, it does not change the love between the parent and child, it does not change the inside of a person. This book shows that truly it is that inward beauty that counts the most and makes the biggest difference. The deep love between the characters reassures small children that even this thing can be faced with security and love. I applaud this author for taking the time to write this children's book. I think it should be one that is recommended at support groups and in doctor's offices that treat cancer patients. It should be on stand-by at cancer treatment facilities to help children understand just what is going on - to help quiet their fears and set their little hearts at ease.

Thank you Sue Glader for this work of your heart! I received this review copy directly from the author free of charge in exchange for an unbiased review of the work.
