Father, Son, and the Other One; Jeff Kennedy

I was interested in this book because of the title. At the time that it came up for review my husband was in a class in seminary that was dealing with the Holy Spirit so we were doing a lot of reading on this subject. I found it to be a very easy to read book as far as the writing style. I also enjoyed the format of the book. In a time when there is little talk or teaching about the Holy Spirit and A LOT of misconception about who He is and what His part in our lives should this book is an excellent resource. If you are reader hungry to understand the work of the Holy Spirit then this is the book for you to pick up and read. Broken into three main sections; Beyond the Bells and Whistles, A sign Between the Times, and Embrace the Mystery; the author breaks down the mystery behind the third person of the trinity. I did not find the book to be bound by denominational prejudice – but found it to be very un biased in the presentation of biblical information to explore the Holy Spirit. In the end I would recommend this book with other resources when studying the Holy Spirit. Because of the way it is set up it would also be an easy book to study in a group setting. Thank you to Revell for this review copy.
