A wonderful story about love and the pull between two things - marry for money, or marry for true love? Seeking independence young Sarah McCabe sets out on a journey that will change her life. The youngest of a large family Sarah is ready to stretch her wings and test life for herself out of the covering of her older brothers and sisters. I really enjoyed how Andrea was able to develope and introduce so many people in this story - bringing each one to life and weaving them into a beautiful tapestry. The rich story telling and historical details make this story leap from the pages, keeping the reader captivated and spell bound till the very end. Will Sarah choose the money and privilages of marraige to the captain or will the value of sacraficial love of Richard win out in the end? Watch Sarah change and grow as she struggles between the two.
